A collection of short stories from my odd view on the world, some are witty, some are thought-provoking, but all are very, very odd. There are too few smiles in today's world, everyone's so serious, so read about Reginald who's addiction to the humble Pea is his ultimate downfall. How would a young girl living in a high rise block in the rough end of London react if she were on the receiving end of the gifts from the nations favourite carol, no, not The Fairy Tale of New York, 12 days of Christmas. The underlying current that Lady Luck leaves in her wake, leaving her hapless victim surfing the Tsunami of bad luck in One in a Million and an extreme view on the British publics relation to Brexit. There are a few poems thrown in as a palate cleanser, something citrusy to balance out the richness and my new found love of a Drabble makes an appearance, peppered through like lead shot in freshly roasted game. This book will not help in the search for world peace or fix global warming, but one day as sea levels rise and gently lap against your flip-flops, it might just bring a smile to your face.
