"The Story of " book series is a collection of colorful and fun children's stories. Mary, our 7 and 1/2 year old narrator, is sharing her favorite stories that were told to her while she endured long city walks with her father. She occasionally steps out of her role as narrator to " knock on Dad's head " a few times and question the merits of his tale or to "help" the reader get the most out of the story. A little outrageous but always fun, "The Story of" series reminds us that a simple walk together can create lasting memories and Charlie Donut Head reminds us that we are all special in our own way.
