Jason only speaks English. Maria only speaks Spanish. Yet they understand each other. Your child will begin to understand both languages in the immersive Adventures of Jason and Maria. When Jason says "Hello" to Maria and Maria says "Hola" to Jason, Adventure 1 begins. In this bilingual series, both English and Spanish speakers can read and learn together. Chose characters and read with your child or encourage siblings to read together. Teachers can easily share parts with students and students can share parts with students. In Adventure 1, Jason and Maria decide to ride their bikes to the zoo. When Maria says "¡Vamonos!", Jason says "Lets Go!". Along the way they are joined by an amazing assortment of animals of all different colors. As Maria and Jason describe the colors and quantities of the animals, their sentences get longer. What a site those two are riding towards the zoo with 55 happy animals following along. And, what a surprise awaits at the zoo, or as Maria would say, "Qué sorpresa."
