The Competitive Africa is basically concerned with the struggles of national governments and economies in Africa at attracting economic growth and development. These struggles, as frustratingly old as Africa itself have deep roots in lack of competitive stamina. It is the inability of the continent to engage the rest of the world on a footing of equality. Yet Africa lacks competitive stamina because it lacks qualitative governance. This is the critique though it doesn't make light of the unfairness meted out on Africa.
