Everything's a Painting Carol Lachiusa

We are pleased to present a retrospective of watercolor paintings by internationally-known artist and teacher Carol LaChuisa. As a bonus, each of the watercolors is accompanied by a contemporary haiku written by Carol especially for this edition. Her paintings have been exhibited in galleries and other venues around the world, and she has earned numerous awards during a career that spans 50+ years. Carol writes, "What I find exciting is the compulsion to capture a moment before it disappears. I admire this in other people's paintings as well, and it is something I encourage my students to expand upon. In the best Marins and Turners, there is such a sense that a particular moment will never repeat; of something rescued from the floodgates of time. I want you to look at my work and say, 'this was her moment'."
