A World of Terrors

COVID-19 was just the beginning... The world in 2024 looks far different than it did four or five years earlier. The emergence of COVID-19 shook the world to its core. Tens of millions had been infected with just over a million deaths reported worldwide. Miraculously, Dr. Mary-Anne Bhakta and her team of physicians at the World Health Organization discovered a vaccine. The world rejoiced, healing had come and the virus had finally been defeated...or so they thought. A new virus was at hand. It killed and ravaged the world with no care. 'The Terrors', as it was later called, turned out to be a deadlier variation of the COVID-19 strain. The world was utterly unprepared for the devastation of the new virus. Major cities around the world were abandoned and hundreds of millions of lives were lost. James, Nancy and their young daughter Isabella must now navigate the new world they find themselves in. As WVC Day approaches, the trio is reminded at every corner of the devastation 'The Terrors' caused. Now, they have to move on and make peace with all that was lost. The world took a deep breath...if only, for a short time...
