Chava's Dreams

The Bible never records the death of Chava (Eve) for she has accompanied humankind throughout the ages. Chava, the hero of our divine tradition. The mother of mankind lives-her existence inspires all. She decided. Knowledge blossomed. Free-will flourished in the hearts of her children. The tale told in these pages is Chava's first-person account of the events taking place in the Biblical Israel of 9th century BCE. This is a legend of how she battled evil and served the rightful kings while struggling with her Creator and the consequences of her fateful decision made in the Garden of Eden. It is a saga found in a wrinkle of time and place, in dreams rooted to the Tree of Knowledge. The story begins in ancient Shomron (Samaria) the Northern Kingdom, where a famine casts a shadow of gloom that unsettles the land and unleashes an evil force. Chava embarks upon a mission, crossing distant lands to save mankind and to preserve a remnant of Shomron by leading them to their own garden. Along the way, Chava encounters two mysterious women, a confused king, eccentric prophets, a special donkey, a surly blacksmith, and a flawed priest. This unlikely group will bind the spiritual labors of our ancestors with the future.
