A small clearing among the trees of the Pacific Northwest holds an ancient tree with a secret. Ages ago, the fate of two star-crossed lovers set this secret in motion. And like countless others before them, William, Josephine, and Sofia are drawn to it. The attraction is so great, they will put their lives on hold to discover why it haunts them, why it has brought them together.
