DAPHNE DISCOVERS... A DRIFTING DILEMMA finds Daphne Whiplow experiencing some very strange and puzzling happenings. It seems she physically drifts upward, defying gravity, at certain times in her day. She hasn't told her Mom or her Dad or her Grandma, as well as her best friend, Patty Po, until she (a curious, take-charge kind of girl) gets to the bottom of the problem. When Daphne finally figures out what causes the mystery, she tells her family and Patty, realizing that in future adventures she very well may need their help, and she is happy about that!
