"A Tale of Strange Days" is a magical trip through a young man's experience in a park and in Australia. Each day brings a different animal encounter. The story begins in the fall and ends the next spring. A squirrel smoking a cigarette, or ice-skating, raccoons riding motorcycles, turtles listening to opera, bears exercising to rock songs, a blue jay with a spitball tube, even dwarves having a water gun fight, add to the fun. Interaction with other humans is a treat to our man. The story takes an international turn as the young man visits family in Australia. He encounters other animals down under and reports on his visit. Once back in the park, the story seems to go a bit more strangely. Certain scientific matters come into play and leave the young man to question even more what he has been seeing. Most thinking caps are one-size-fits-all. Make sure yours fits.
