Ska nya röster sjunga – En hyllning till Mikael Wiehe

Polar Music International AB presents the tribute album "Ska nya röster sjunga – En hyllning till Mikael Wiehe" in celebration of Mikael Wiehe's 80th birthday earlier this year.

The album brings together a number of Sweden's biggest musical names, each contributing their own personal interpretations of songs from one of Sweden's most significant songwriters of all time.

From Jonathan Johansson's original interpretation of "Kom hem till mej", where the Scanian dialect is allowed to shine through, and Moonica Mac's poignant version of "En sång till modet" to Lars Winnerbäcks "Vi kommer från Världen" and Thåström's completely unique interpretation of "Hon kommer över ängarna". Together, they present Mikael Wiehe's impressive song catalog in a whole new light.
