It was the spring of '91 in Manila, and the power blackouts stemming from earthquake season meant that kids had to find something besides video gaming to fill the days. A trio of 13-year-old pals were busy coming up with alternatives-including a journey to the countryside for a cockeyed plan to have a witch doctor accelerate their incipient manhood. Flavorful slice-of-life farce stars Noel Comia, Jr., John Vincent Servilla, Jigger Sementilla, Kim Chloe Oquendo. 99 min. In Tagalog and English with English subtitles. Widescreen; Soundtrack: Tagalog and English; Subtitles: English; theatrical trailers. In Tagalog and English with English subtitles.
