A mystical sorceress... a magical sword... the adventure of a lifetime!  Journey back to the colorful and mystical age of evil wizards and black magic, into an enchanted land of ominous castles and dungeon dwelling dinosaurs! Battle with crusading knights to save the dazzling damsel in distress and seize the penultimate prize... the powerful Blade of Aktar, in Troma's Wizards of the Demon Sword!  Starring Russ Tamblyn (West Side Story, 'Twin Peaks'), Lyle Waggoner ('Wonder Woman'), Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes), Lawrence Tierney (Reservoir Dogs) and Heidi Paine (Road House), Wizards of the Demon Sword is director Fred Olen Ray's big-budget action-adventure, combining the thrills of The Sword and the Sorcerer with the satire of Monty Python and the Holy Grail.  After her father Ulric (Tamblyn) is imprisoned by the evil sorcerer Lord Khoura (Waggoner), young Melina (Paine) joins forces with traveling swordsman Thane (Blake Bahner, The Digital Prophet) to hunt down the devious warlock and reclaim the coveted Knife of Aktar, which gives its owner unlimited powers. Coming across a colorful assortment of elves, imps and ogres along the way, Melina and Thane journey across fantastic middle-earth landscapes, into a final showdown where the forces of good and evil go head to head in a battle to the death.
