Written and recorded across sessions in Los Angeles, Tokyo, London and California's legendary Broken Arrow Ranch, Distance In Static finds Simon Green expanding his distinctive fusion of organic instrumentation, electronic production and globally inspired soundscapes into one of his most ambitious works to date.

Developed over several years, Distance In Static reflects Green's evolving identity as both a live performer and a DJ. The title evokes fragmented signals and distant frequencies, mirroring the album's exploration of memory, connection and the search for clarity amid the noise of modern life.

The album features collaborations with Joy Crookes, Arooj Aftab, Nilüfer Yanya, Nicole Miglis, Ichiko Aoba, Aanya Martin and Kanako Yamamoto.
