From audiophile pressings to rare limited editions

For the passionate collector, a vinyl record is more than music – it’s a work of art and a valuable collectible. That’s why our buyers are constantly hand-picking the most sought-after pressings and reissues on the market. Our range includes:

• Audiophile vinyl: Heavyweight 180-gram releases and audiophile pressings for listeners who want the best possible sound from their system. Jazz fans can also explore our audiophile jazz reissues from labels such as Blue Note and Verve.
• Albums on coloured vinyl: Records in every colour, from clear and marbled to splatter editions.
• Deluxe and limited editions: Numbered special editions, box sets, rare imports such as Japanese import vinyl, and exclusive pre-orders.

We know how important it is for your records to arrive in perfect condition. That’s why we pack every record with care in shock-absorbing packaging, so your albums reach you safely.

LPs for every taste and every decade

Music is personal, and our vinyl records cover every genre. If you love heavy riffs, you’ll find a big selection of metal and hard rock on vinyl, while punk, post-punk and hardcore has a section of its own. We also stock hip hop on vinyl, jazz on vinyl, country and classical music on vinyl.

Into films and games? Take a look at our soundtracks on vinyl and video game soundtracks. And whether you prefer ’60s rock, ’80s synth-pop or the latest releases, you’ll find music from every decade.

The magic of analogue sound

In a digital age, vinyl offers a different way of getting lost in music. You slide the record out of its sleeve, study the artwork and tracklist, and listen to the album as a complete work, exactly as the artist intended. The quiet anticipation before the needle drops and the warm sound that fills the room afterwards are an experience streaming simply can’t match – and a big part of why vinyl has made such a comeback.

Vinyl accessories to care for and protect your records

Great sound starts with records in great condition. In our range of vinyl accessories you’ll find:

• Stabilisers and clamps: Reduce unwanted vibrations and help flatten slightly warped records.
• Slipmats: Dampen vibrations from the turntable and protect the underside of the record.
• Cleaning and protection: Anti-static brushes, record cleaners from brands such as GrooveWasher, and inner and outer sleeves from our own brand or Audio Anatomy to protect against scratches and dust.

FAQ – Frequently asked questions about vinyl records

How should I store and care for my LPs?

Always store your vinyl records upright in a dry place to prevent warping. Brush off dust with a carbon fibre brush before playing, and protect your sleeves from wear with outer and inner sleeves from our range of vinyl accessories.

How quickly will my vinyl order be shipped?

Vinyl records in stock usually ship within 1–2 working days. If you order a record from a remote warehouse or pre-order an upcoming release, the expected dispatch date is shown on the product page. We always pack in shock-absorbing packaging, so your records arrive safely without bent corners.

Will I have to pay import duties or taxes?

That depends on where you live. For orders to the UK, VAT is included in the price at checkout for orders up to £135, so there’s nothing extra to pay when your parcel arrives. Orders to the USA are not subject to any customs duties or import fees. For deliveries to other countries local import taxes or duties may be charged on delivery by the carrier or customs authorities.

What size is a vinyl record, and how much does it weigh?

Vinyl records usually come in three sizes: 7-inch, 10-inch and 12-inch. A 12-inch LP measures about 12.4 × 12.4 inches (31.5 × 31.5 cm) including the sleeve, a 10-inch record about 10.2 × 10.2 inches (26 × 26 cm), and a 7-inch single about 7.1 × 7.1 inches (18 × 18 cm). A 12-inch LP usually weighs 120–180 grams, and a 7-inch single around 40 grams. With its sleeve, an LP typically weighs between 300 and 700 grams (roughly 10–25 oz).

Can I pre-order upcoming album releases?

Yes. At iMusic you can pre-order upcoming LP releases, special editions and exclusive reissues, so you’re sure to get your copy. When you pre-order, we reserve the record for you and ship it as soon as it arrives at our warehouse. See all upcoming vinyl releases.
